Fire Station 1 – 603 S Main Street
Located in downtown Moscow, Station 1 serves as the heart of the department. Established in 1927 and expanded in 1954, this historic facility houses Engine 26, Ladder 28, and multiple ambulances, including the latest 2023 Ford F-450 Type I ambulance. It also accommodates student resident firefighters, fostering a strong connection between the department and the University of Idaho.
Fire Station 3 – 229 Pintail Lane
Station 3, situated on the city’s south side, is a six-bay facility shared with the Moscow Rural Fire District. It houses both city and rural apparatus, including Engine 27 and Rescue 24. This station plays a pivotal role in providing comprehensive coverage to the 128-square-mile Moscow Rural Fire District.
Fire Station 2 – 1300 White Avenue
Station 2 is a five-bay facility operated jointly with the Moscow Rural Fire District. It houses Engine 27, Rescue 24, and Ambulance 42, serving as the primary response point for rural areas. This collaboration ensures efficient coverage and rapid response times across the district.
