Our new Student Resident Firefighters just wrapped up their first week—and what a week it was! 💪🚒
This week, they:
- Moved into their fire station dorms
- Welcome from Fire Chief, Mayor, and City of Moscow/University of Idaho leadership
- Completed HR training with the City of Moscow
- Discussed mental health & resiliency
- Tackled team-building exercises
- Started Emergency Vehicle Operations Training
- Practiced engine & ambulance driving cone courses
- Supported our community at National Night Out
- Got fitted for firefighting turnouts and safety gear
- Met our beloved dog volunteer, JP
These rookies are already impressing us with their energy, teamwork, and commitment. We’re excited to see them continue their journey toward Fire Academy and their first shifts later this month!
