Moscow Volunteer Fire & Ambulance had a fantastic time meeting students at the Moscow Bears High School Career Fair. Student Resident Firefighters and EMTs Joey, Aidan, and Reece shared their experiences and answered questions about serving the Moscow community while pursuing higher education.

The Student Resident Program offers a unique opportunity for college students to gain hands-on firefighting and emergency medical experience while living at a Moscow fire station. Participants train alongside dedicated volunteers and career staff, respond to real emergency calls, and contribute to protecting the City of Moscow and Latah County, all while furthering their academic goals.

This immersive program builds lifelong skills in leadership, teamwork, and community service. Many of our participants go on to careers in emergency services, healthcare, and public safety.
